Ambisonic Handguns V4 Ruger P89 9mm
$20.00
Description
This is a collection of immersive, ambisonic audio recordings of a Ruger P89 9mm handgun. The firearm recordings were captured from the shooter’s perspective, in an outdoor environment in rural, mountain valley terrain. The handling sounds were recorded indoors. Ideal for 1st person shooter game design.
The Ruger P89 is a popular double-action, semi-automatic handgun chambered in 9mm. When firing the Ruger P89 9mm, the first thing you’ll hear is the metallic “clack” of the slide being racked back and forth as the first round is loaded. Once the weapon is loaded and ready to fire, the sound of the gunfire itself is relatively quiet compared to some other calibers. The 9mm round is known for its lower recoil and report, and this is reflected in the sound of the gunfire. The report is a bit more subdued than larger calibers, with a softer, more muted sound that is still quite audible. As with most firearms, you’ll also hear the sound of the spent cartridge being ejected from the weapon after each shot, as well as the sound of the slide moving back and forth. The Ruger P89 9mm firing is a relatively quiet, but still distinct sound that is instantly recognizable.
